Inability to comprehend

Here's TIME with thier spin.

"But contrary to what many many television networks erroneously reported, the operation was by no means the largest use of airpower since the start of the war. ("Air Assault" is a military term that refers specifically to transporting troops into an area.)"
http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1174448,00.html

Hey you morons.... Air Assualt is the use of troops via helicopter. Airborne is actual paratroops. Use of "airpower" is AirForce. Damn it! Are you that thick? Apparently. Oh wait... that's right... you haven't served in uniform. Right. Go back to your coffee houses. Let us fight the war, you liberal wussies. I don't know whose more deserving of a bullet to the head... them or you.

Op. Swarmer update

'Operation Swarmer' Expected to Last Days
AP - 21 minutes ago
BAGHDAD, Iraq - U.S. forces and Iraqi troops launched what the military described as the largest air assault since the 2003 U.S.-led invasion Thursday, targeting insurgent strongholds north of the capital. The U.S. military said the raid, dubbed Operation Swarmer, was aimed at clearing "a suspected insurgent operating area" northeast of Samarra and was expected to last several days. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/

Brilliant! Who clued the reporters that Ops. often last for more than 30 minutes? It's not a sitcom, or an hour long episode of "American Idol". These endeavors often last for days, sometimes weeks. What? Now we are supposed to sit on the edge of our seats, biting our nails? "Oh no! For days? I can't believe it!" Morons.

'Operation Swarmer'

Offensive operations. A thing of beauty. Of course the MSM will downplay it, call it a distraction and ask stupid questions. There is no "Transparency" in military ops. Why? It's called OPERATIONAL SECURITY. And that is a good thing.

Iraqi Security Forces, Coalition Launch 'Operation Swarmer'
American Forces Press Service

WASHINGTON, March 16, 2006 – Iraqi and coalition forces today launched the largest air assault operation since the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom in southern Salah Ad Din province to clear a suspected insurgent operating area northeast of Samarra, military officials reported.
"Operation Swarmer" began this morning with soldiers from the Iraqi army's 1st Brigade, 4th Division; the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division's 3rd Brigade Combat Team; and the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade conducting a combined air and ground assault to isolate the objective area, officials said.

No kidding

Saddam Hussein's lawyers said they will petition for the ouster of his Iraqi judge, with US attorney Ramsey Clark describing the court trying the former dictator as "dysfunctional".

"The court is dysfunctional and highly prejudiced," Clark, a former US attorney general and member of the defence team, told reporters in Jordan after flying in from two days of hearings in neighbouring Iraq.

Really? Ya think? Maybe because you are there fudging up the works.

Please excuse the delay

Relocation concerns have taken priority for the time being.

Unfortunate, in that there is so much to comment on... like impeachment and censure talks from the left. They just can't quit, can they?

Payback's a bitch

Retribution is cosmic. Realignment of karma. What goes around comes around.
On Drudge right now.. it seems NBC's David Gregory called into Imus this morning intoxicated. Who's drunk now? Serves you right for being part of that press gaggle hounding McClellan about Cheney's hunting accident. I don't recall if Gregory was one who asked if Cheney had been drinking, but the theory was floated by the left for about 3 days after. Turnabout is fair play, no? I'll bet this gets squashed by the MSM.
Excerpt from Drudge's transcript:
GREGORY'S GIGGLES: NBCNEWS WHITE HOUSE REPORTER CALLS SHOW WHILE 'DRUNK'?
Thu Mar 02 2006 08:52:09 ET

IMUS: Why don't you compose yourself and get back to us. You want to?
GREGORY: [Laughter] [Laughter] [Laughter]
IMUS: What are you in some harrem?
IMUS: What? David?
GREGORY: No, i'm fine.
...
GREGORY: I would add, i would add that this is how you say thank you.
IMUS: What is it again?
[Speaking foreign language]
IMUS: Well that's great. But we have to go. It's always nice to hear from you.

More "free thinking" in our schools

Wow. If I had kids, I'd be gunning for these liberal idiot teachers on a daily basis... trying to indoctrinate them with thier skewed world view. I remember a few teachers that were commie pinko, but none this bad. A few headlines:

Teacher caught in Bush "rant"The Overland High educator is on administrative leave. Cherry Creek's superintendent said a balanced viewpoint will be given to students. http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_3560566

"...Bennish was placed on leave "to take some of the pressure off of him" during the investigation..." Awww... poor little guy. And he looks like such a sensitive soul. Note some of his other sensitive comments from the article:

  • Bennish described capitalism as a system "at odds with human rights."
  • He also said there were "eerie similarities" between what Bush said during his Jan. 28 State of the Union address and "things that Adolf Hitler used to say."
  • The United States was "probably the single most violent nation on planet Earth," Bennish also said.

UPDATE: Oh no! Students walk out in protest! Ah! Please note that it says some students were in support of his suspension! Hmmmm. http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/local/

High school teacher's comments investigated by district http://www.9news.com/acm_

This one makes sure to single out the teachers comments, making him appear more balanced.

And finally.. this one: President Bush is being tried for "crimes against civilian populations" and "inhumane treatment of prisoners" at Parsippany High School. http://www.dailyrecord.com/apps

Double dealin' Billy

Seems Ol' Billy has a hand in the UAE port dealings. All the while, Hillary is simmering (note her new tempered approach) over stopping any such deal. Interesting. http://news.ft.com/cms/s/60414c4c-a95e-11da-a64b-0000779e2340.html
