Trouble afoot in Thailand

Military coup in Thailand while thier P.M. is in New York:

Looking at the pictures... I couldn't help but notice all the 1980's era U.S. surplus equiptment. Among the items I see:
M60 tank
M113 with M2 .50 Cal. MG.
M998 HMMVW
M16A2 rifles with 20 round mags
Web gear (LCE) with U.S. marked magazine pouches
"Fritz" Kevlar helmet. (PASGT)

No big deal, but I'm wondering if the american left will blame us for this coup by selling off old surplus.
